Keihl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish

Keihl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish

Kiehl’s is definitely a brand that has never failed to satisfy me. I love Creme de Corps so much. It’s a lotion which I usually don’t like because they’re filled with water and don’t actually have any moisturising capability whatsoever but, Creme de Corps surprisingly kept my skin moisturised for a long time. Because of my love for Creme de Corps, obviously I’d try the body polish. It’s £22.50 for 200ml, I hoped and prayed that it’d be the end of my search for the perfect body scrub; I don’t mind splurging but it has to be worth the money I’m coughing up. It sounds so right up my street. Shea and Jojoba Butters, Sweet Almond Oil, ground Luffa Fruit, pure honey and soy milk protein. It’s enough for me to eat let alone use on my body!

I don’t actually know what to say about this thing right here; I love it yet I dislike it at the same time. This scrub is incredibly moisturising, I didn’t feel the need to use a cream after using it and it smells gobsmackingly gorgeous (vanilla, coconut, honey and milk?). I’m pretty fussy with my polishes; I like a fine exfoliant, preferably ground walnut or really fine sugar and salt. I felt that this was a little gritty. I use a gritty scrub once a week (one I make myself) because it’s quite course and does a great job at exfoliating. I assumed that the polish would be just like that but, considering its grittiness, it didn’t really do a good job at actually exfoliating. That’s probably because there’s more butter than there is scrub which I usually hate. There’s nothing that I hate about having more oil or butter than scrub because I may as well be rubbing body butter or oil all over myself when I’m in the shower. Absolutely pointless.

I reckon this would be my favourite scrub if they used ground walnut and added a lot more than there is in it right now.
