The Mixstress Workshop | Coconutty Hair Masque
Coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut hair conditioner. The love I have for each and every one of them is crazy so it was right that I would mix them all together and use it as a deep hair treatment. Coconut milk is rich in protein and so is the hair conditioner I’ve used, Organix’s Coconut Milk Conditioner. I absolutely love Organix, I’ve been using Herbal Essences’ Hello Hydration range for the longest time now I thought I’d give Organix a try.
YOU WILL NEED
Depending on how thick and long your hair is, add however many spoons of conditioner you see fit. I used about 3 heaped tablespoons.
Add one tablespoon of coconut oil to the conditioner. Coconut oil tends to get quite hard under a particular temperature so if yours is hard, stir the oil around a little. Make sure you don’t melt it because the mixture will become runny. You’ll get a nice fluffy consistency when you don’t melt it.
Then add two tablespoons of the coconut milk but be careful to make sure that the mixture is not runny. It should be thick!
You might get a few lumps from the coconut oil as you didn’t melt it so if that’s the case just smooth them out with a spoon.
