Sarah Jones London Pure Magic Cleansing Scrub
Sometimes we all encounter those early mornings where nothing seems to wake us up except for some extra espresso shots but, the Sarah Jones London Pure Magic Cleansing Scrub* doesn’t fail to get me alert thanks to the basil, witch hazel and chamomile oils. There’s a very herbal scent to the scrub which isn’t to my liking but it does get me alert like the Far Far Away Scrub which is also from Sarah Jones London.
The scrub is full of ingredients like coconut, jojoba, aloe vera leaf juice, organic roobois extract and avocado oil so it’s very natural. The exfoliant in the scrub are jojoba beads which I usually really can’t stand because they do absolutely nothing but in this case it’s most definitely not a scrub that exfoliates the skin very well but you can still feel the beads working. It’s incredibly gentle and you can barely feel that it’s exfoliating your skin however, I have found it to be quite runny for me. I love a scrub to have a little grip to it so I can work it onto the skin effectively but I felt like this was running between my fingers.
Would I use this scrub again? No. Despite it having the best ingredients, my skin didn’t really feel any better after using this and I prefer my face scrubs to have an exfoliant with a bit of grit to it like salt or walnut like with the apricot scrubs out there.
(Oh, don’t mind Charlie, he loved the smell of the scrub!)
