My Recipe For Super Smooth Skin
We all get those moments where our skin gets dull and lacklustre so we pull out our arsenal of skincare products to brighten things up but lately I’ve been relying on just three products to get my skin back to its former glory!
After my sister gave me a great tip she picked up from the beauty counter to exfoliate the skin, moisturise then seal with Vaseline to wake up to smoother skin, I’ve been thinking about turning the tables and using different products to create the same effect and it’s been working a treat.
First I exfoliate with the JASON Brightening Apricot Scrubble* which I’ve decided is my all-time favourite face scrub ever, then I moisturise with new French brand Etat Pur’s B20 Oil Free Quenching Fluid* which is a very basic and simple moisturiser that doesn’t break me out or irritate the skin. Once my skin’s moisturised, instead of using Vaseline, I’ll use a very small amount of Elizabeth Arden’s Fragrance Free Eight Hour Cream* to gently smooth and massage onto the skin.
The whole point in doing this is that exfoliating will remove dead skin whereas the Eight Hour Cream will seal the moisture from the moisturiser leaving for your skin very hydrated in the morning which therefore creates the perfect canvas for your make-up!
