I couldn’t help but laugh when my sister brought home a sample of the Giorgio Armani Skin Minerals for Men Moisturising Bronzer. Why am I laughing I hear you ask. The reason I’m laughing is that this isn’t your usual bronzer for women, no Ma’am. It’s for blokes..
I put the bronzer to the test myself as no man that I know would be willing to try it out for the sake of beauty and I think it’s a pretty pointless product. It’s a gel that bronzes the skin upon application and it has the most offensive smell known to man. I can’t explain it, I think it’s cologne meets fake tan. Also, maybe it’s just the men I know but there aren’t that many men who are going to go to the beauty counter and ask for a bronzer, men don’t even care! They’re not like us where we worry about the size of our pores or whether their skin is brown enough. They barely notice that we’ve made an effort to look good let alone making an effort themselves!

Hi there, I thought I would read your review because male grooming seems to be an ever growing market, and having spent many a shopping trip in Boots, Superdrug, Department stores etc recently, you can’t help but notice all the brands offering their services to men with a plethora of products. I automatically assumed men do want to look healthy and groomed like us women and my boyfriend is certainly concerned about his large pores, blackheads and under eye bags to the point he will only use a face wash/scrub containing salicylic acid and helps himself to my eye creams. With regards to men’s tanning products, men’s skin is thicker and generally less sensitive to irritation by fragrances, hence products do differ from womens to mens. Just
take a look at Pixiwoo…Sam & Nic (Proc Make-up Artists) and their Male Grooming and Make up review here’s the link, it may enlighten that in fact there are many men who take care of their skin and do want to look presentable and who do appreciate women and the efforts we make.
Thanks for sharing the video Claire! It’s so interesting to see how men groom, the men I know barely give two monkeys about anything beyond their skin and facial care but I also think it’s because of the limited amount of information given to them!
