Weekend Reads | Winter Beauty Prep
Bold lips, balms, hydration, plum, navy and flushed cheeks are a few words that sum up winter beauty for me. I can’t express how much I love the winter and its trends, collections and trends; so far NARS’ Fall 2012 collection has been my favourite with matte red lipsticks, grey nail polish and a gorgeous eyeshadow trio featuring khaki green and purple shades.
Rich hand creams, argan oil cuticle treatments, milk baths and facial oils are a number of ways you can make sure your skin doesn’t fall victim to this winter weather.
I’m wearing a few new seasonal products this winter including the NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Rouge Tribal and classics like the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks.
Our hair takes a big beating in the harsh weather so it’s time to take the TLC by a few notches. Now’s the time for me to deep condition with hydrating masks and do regular hot oil treatments.
My bathroom cabinet adapts to the seasons and it’s currently filled with goodies from Saaf, Olay and Fekkai!
Nude and grey nails – I’m obsessed.
Caroline Hirons is my favourite skincare blogger, and here she is giving us the all important advise we need to keep our skin looking its best this winter.
I pick some of the best moisturisers out there that you’ll be needing this winter including La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 which I love!
Amelia Liana has a few of my own winter skin fixers including the Vaseline Cocoa Butter Gel Body Oil.
