New Year’s tradition insists that you must get a peck from someone so Nivea has created a fun campaign to break a record with the longest kissing chain on Twitter. I don’t have a hubby so I’ll probably be bringing in the New Year with a peck on my mums cheek but even if you’re not getting involved with Nivea‘s kissing chain, lip prep is still the key to rocking that favourite lipstick of yours! My favourite lip colour lately has been Dior’s Addict Extreme in Black Tie, a gorgeous shade that screams modern sophistication. However, where concealer hides practically everything from bumps to dark circles, lipstick only makes things worse so say bye to flaky and chapped lips and hello to super smooth and soft lips!
- This is where you release your inner Mixstress and mix a teaspoon of baking powder with a teaspoon of olive oil. For added hydration, add a drop of honey too.
- Rub the mixture all over the lips in circular motions until they’re smooth and flake free.
- Apply a generous amount of Nivea‘s brand new Lip Butter. You have three flavours to choose from: Raspberry Rose, Caramel Cream and Original. The lip caring formula in the Lip Butter is packed full of hero ingredients Shea Butter and Almond Oil which work together to help intensively nourish the lips.
- Once all the goodness from the Lip Butter has sunk in, you’re now ready to rock that lipstick!
Nivea Lip Butter is available from Tesco, Boots and Superdrug.
