Parfum Du Jour | Juicy Couture Couture La La
I have no clue why I’ve never reviewed a Juicy Couture perfume because I’m a huge fan of each and every one of them especially Viva La Juicy. The fragrances are fun, youthful and very feminine and the latest addition to my Juicy Couture collection is the new Couture La La*, a fruity floral that even fans of the deepest, muskiest fragrances like myself would like!
There are three words to describe Couture La La; unexpected because of the sparkling mandarin, green apple and red currant notes which you wouldn’t usually find in a fragrance, daring with lily of the valley and blushing peony with accents of orange flowers and feminine where liquid musk and smooth woods add a surprising magnetism at the scent’s finish.
Fragrance tells a story about our memories, who we are or who we’re trying to be and LeAnn Nealz, President and Chief Creative Officer of Juicy Couture has the right idea. She says “there are lots of beautiful and alluring notes to Couture La La, which is very much like the essence of the Juicy girl, there are many layers to her personality. She’s confident and fearless but at the same time flirty and feminine. The Juicy Couture girl lives and breathes couture — it’s part of her everyday fashion and fragrance choices. Couture La La evokes her free spirit and in turn, she makes a statement without even trying.” I definitely want to be a Juicy girl now!
Couture La La was just launched this month and it’s available in Boots, Debenhams, Harrods, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Selfridges, Superdrug, The Perfume Shop, The Fragrance Shop, Arnotts & Brown Thomas.
