Topshop Peel Off Nails
As part of their SS13 Edit, Topshop have brought out a line of peel off nail polishes and it’s music to my ears as well as a million other Muslim women. It may sound complicated, but Muslims pray 5 times a day and there’s a pre-prayer ritual of cleansing the body and because nail polish is waterproof it can’t reach the nail so removing nail polish is a must. It’s incredibly tedious, but some women make it work and others just don’t bother with nail polish but the idea of a simple, peel off nail polish makes things so much easier!
Considering it has a different formula to other nail polishes, the Peel Off Nails* has the same texture, consistency and finish as them but it does look a little rubbery and glossy to me which I actually like. I loved chemistry during school so I’ve always wanted to know how exactly the nail polish can peel off so the nerd in me enjoys peeling it all off just as much as I love applying it. I can’t stand usual removing nail polish, the chemical laden nail polish remover gives me headaches and isn’t so kind to my nails but all you have to do with the Peel Off Nails is well.. peel it off! Uncomplicated, simple, easy and doesn’t give you headaches #winning!
I have What’s Up on my nails but the Peel Off Nails* also come in On the Blink (blue), Back Flip (black/navy) and Straight Laced (grey) and are available at Topshop for just £6.
