There are many great British skincare brands out there; some popular and well known and others are the best kept secrets of some women but I’ve come across three fantastic moisturisers packed with some serious flower power.
ESSENTIAL CARE ORGANIC ROSE MOISTURISER
This light textured moisturiser made in Suffolk, England with shea butter, jojoba and coconut oils, organic roses, aloe vera juice and sea buckthorn berries is for all skintypes and makes a great eye cream too.
I’ve found the moisturiser to be hydrating enough for my skin but thin enough for make-up. It’s also a great moisturiser for the summer where you wouldn’t want a moisturiser that’s too thick.
PURE HALAL BEAUTY SOOTHE & BALANCE MOISTURISER
The PHB Soothe & Balance Moisturiser* is just perfect for my acne prone skin. Trying new moisturisers feels like gambling for me as I could either break out terribly, or my skin stays just fine and this moisturiser falls into the latter. The lavender and geranium are ideal for acne prone skin. It’s a very rich moisturiser that’ll help see you through the winter.
NEAL’S YARD REMEDIES REHYDRATING ROSE DAILY MOISTURE
Damask rose is the star of the show in the Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture*; add calendula, starflower and hyaluronic acid and you’ve got this wonderful moisturiser that smells like an English garden. If you want a moisturiser with certified organic ingredients and is a treat to apply onto the skin, this is the one for you.
