2 Cleansers, 2 Days

2 Cleansers, 2 Days

My Lush Angel’s With Bare Skin is so close to running out and I really liked it but, I don’t feel as though my skin is any different with it if I’m honest. I barely stick to one cleanser because I haven’t really found the one so I do try quite a few cleansers just to see which one’s right for me. Fortunately, I’ve received two cleansers that I really like so hopefully along the line, one of them may just be the one!

Dead Sea Spa Magik is a brand I’ve wanted to try for a long time now, and I never really had a cleanser in mind because I wanted to get their scrub and bath salts but, I’m very pleased with this cleanser. I got it in my November Glossy Box and it has the creamiest consistency which I love and it feels like you’re truly being pampered when you use this because of the texture. The cleanser left my skin squeaky clean and removed most of the make-up I had on with the exception of a tiny bit of liquid eyeliner but I can’t get over how clean this left my skin. I like the feeling of my skin being very clean but a lot of the time, my skin gets dry when it’s cleansed so well but nope, not this.

I got this cleanser just yesterday and I was so excited to try it out. I’ve never come across a Halal skincare range in the UK but I have in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and loads of other Muslim countries that I’ve visited so I really like that there is a brand providing this sort of stuff for Muslim women. The cleanser is for oily and problem skin and contains chamomile, seabuckthorn and lavender which helps to soothe, repair and calm skin. When I opened the bottle, it smelt gorgeous and that’s because lavender is one of my favourite scents. Another thing I liked is the consistency of the cleanser; it’s almost milk-like and I assumed that it wouldn’t clean off my make-up well because of  its consistency but, last night I went out to dinner with a full face of make-up (foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, mascara… the whole shebang!) and I used the cleanser and what do you know? It cleaned it off so well and I love a cleanser that can clean off all of my mascara.

It’s so hard to pick my favourite cleanser out of the two! I love the Pure Halal Beauty’s milky consistency and that it’s jam packed with lavender but I also love Dead Sea Spa Magik’s thick and creamy texture and how it left my skin unbelievably smooth afterwards so I’m not picking!

The Pure Halal Beauty cleanser was sent to me for review purposes. Regardless of whether I’ve paid for a product or not, my honest opinion is expressed and it doesn’t affect the review.
