It’s been tough for me to pick my Product of the Month this month as I’ve had the choice between this, and a Dermalogica and L’Oreal product but the wonderful Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Vitalising Body Gel Oil is truly deserving of being called Product of the Month.
Like a lot of my purchases, this was on impulse. I was food shopping in Sainsbury’s and as usual, the beauty aisle had this magnetic pull over me and I left with quite a few things. I’d heard quite a lot about Vaseline’s Cocoa Butter range but being the bath & body product snob I am, I didn’t even bother to check out anything. I assumed that as there’d barely be any cocoa butter like other brands (and I was right about that), it wouldn’t be worth trying but I’ve been proven wrong.
My legs get extremely dry so I tend to judge how moisturising something is depending on how moisturised my legs are. If they’re dry after a few hours then it’s a fail and I can say that’s not the case with this. I’m assuming it’s because of the oil, it’s very unique in the sense that it’s a gel and oil at the same time, it reminds me of Dove’s Intensive Lotion for Extra Dry Skin which I completely love as it has the double power of both a lotion and oil. Clearly oils work very well on my legs. Not only are my legs moisturised but they’re left smooth and glistening! I can imagine how it’d look on bronzed skin.
Pop the gel oil on top of the radiator for no more than ten minutes whilst you’re having a bath or shower, then massage it into your skin when you’ve come out. You’ll seriously feel very pampered and considering that it’s very cheap (only £4.99!), it feels like a luxury product!

I have to find this in my country! I have the weirdest dry legs!
Where do you live?
I’m from the Philippines. Near Manila.
I hope you do find it because it’s such a great product!
I,ve bought it,terrible..my skin is allergic for the parfum and my skin itches
and i’ve skin eruption all over…i’had to go to the doctor.
Maybe you are just particularly allergic to some products- people have different skins so it’s a must to test a product in a small patch of your skin before you use it. at least 24 hours or more
I love this! Lasts for absolutely ages because you really don’t need to use a lot. I use this on my legs and feet on days when I know I won’t be doing much =)
