Yesterday I popped over to the Selfridges beauty counter to check out the new beauty additions and I was planning to make a few purchases including a scented candle so I went to the Jo Malone counter where a good friend of mine Radheya works and was treated to a hand massage with their Nectarine Blossom and Honey collection.
To start off the massage, my hands were scrubbed to smoothness with the Vitamin E Body Treatment Scub which is a rich, buttery and sweet vanilla scented scrub with shea butter and wheat germ oil. I’ve heard about the scrub and it definitely didn’t disappoint my expectations. The consistency is perfect as you’ve got enough grip to ensure better exfoliation and your skin literally glistens at how soft it is once it’s rinsed off but I can’t ever justify spending £68 on it but, it comes in an absolutely huge 600g tub (okay, maybe I can slightly justify it…).
Once the scrubbing was done, she used the Nectarine Blossom and Honey Body & Hand Wash to clean my hands. Two things I picked up on the wash was that my hands were still moisturised afterwards which shows that it’s very gentle and the tiniest amount created a great foam so a little goes a very long way.
Straight after washing away the hand wash, Radheya massaged my hands with the Nectarine and Blossom Body Crème. She put pressure on the right places and moved up to the forearms too. If I had the choice, I’d get hand massages all the time!
What happens next is the magical part; I thought everything was finished when the creme was massaged in but, Radheya sprayed the Nectarine Blossom and Honey Cologne all over my hands. It’s finishing touches like this that have people coming back for more!
I left purchasing the candle and as I type this, it’s flickering away behind me and the Nectarine Blossom and Honey collection is definitely one of my favourites from Jo Malone along with the Orange Blossom. The nectarine, peach, cassis, spring flowers and honey blend to create such a subtly sweet, feminine fragrance that just sweeps my entire house.
