Beauty Bulletin | Balmain Haircare, The Worlds Most Expensive Body Oil at BeautyMART, NARS & Pierre Hardy Collab and More
There are some exciting launches in the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled and check out the latest beauty news!
NARS isn’t my favourite cosmetics brand for nothing! Their products are the best out there and they always have the best collaborations like their Indian spice market inspired nail polishes with Thakoon, bold coloured Andy Warhol eyeshadow palettes and now a collection with shoe designer Pierre Hardy. Pierre Hardy is famous for his gorgeous shoes and patterns, so I’m incredibly excited for the collection of nail polish duos and geometric print blushes which’ll be available from May.
Rodin Olio Lusso at BeautyMART
Where do I even begin with the Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Body Oil? Where do I begin? I’m actually in love, I just want to roll around in this oil all day. It’s a luxurious blend of argan, jojoba, evening primrose, sweet almond, apricot, orange flower rose and calendula oils to soften and hydrate the driest of skin. The mix of luxury oils makes it the most expensive body oil in the world. The reason I love it so much is the smell and if you know me you’d know how besotted I am with anything jasmine scented so when this launches in June at the very fabulous BeautyMART in Harvey Nichols both in London and Liverpool I’ll make sure I’m the first person to get one even if I have to run barefoot to get my hands on a bottle!
Another addition to BeautyMART is the much awaited haircare line from the iconic fashion house, Balmain. They’re already known for their hair extensions which they use on the models for their shows, but you can now get the locks of your favourite models with the line just fresh off the A/W ’13 Balmain show in Paris. The products are available now at BeautyMART and their online store. My favourite product? The Silk Perfume – makes your hair smell divine and there’s argan oil in it to polish off a style.
Topshop Morning Dew Creme Blush
The warmer the weather, the more I ditch the powder blush and go for something creamier like this pretty pink blush from Topshop called Morning Dew which goes from creme to powder instantly. It’s available now at Topshop stores.
Summer is the time for bold prints and colours on nails, and even though the colours in my nail polish roster tend to be red, mocha or a deep blue, summertime nail trends are the only exception. My eyes are instantly drawn to the patterned nail wraps from Rock Beauty and these cute nail polishes from Topshop (orange) in Carnival and Spilled Milk (white).
