Estée Lauder Perfectionist Foundation Revisited

Estée Lauder Perfectionist Foundation Revisited

Signs of a foundation coming to its end, in the shape of a heart no less!

Over three years ago I mused about the launch of Estée Lauder’s Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup, but little did I know that it’d pretty much be the only foundation I’d buy for years to come. I’ve tried foundations from the likes of Cover Girl, Lancôme and The Ordinary’s latest foundation, but nothing does my skin and complexion justice quite like the Perfectionist foundation except for NARS’ Sheer Glow.

In the early days of this blog, I was excited to try new things and accumulate as many beauty products as I could. I subjected my poor face to lots of unnecessary skincare and makeup.  As time goes on however, I’ve come to know what works for me and not venture out unless I’m truly convinced something will work, and this is especially true for foundation, for which a good one is hard to come by.

To bring back the glow that this winter weather has robbed from my skin, I’ve taken to mixing the foundation with Armani’s Fluid Sheer in #3 or NARS’ 413 BLKR Illuminator. Black may not crack, but in my case it certainly does lack during the winter.

I’m on my last couple of pumps, and while this foundation is quite pricy I’d gladly pay £40 all over again for this complexion perfection in a bottle.
